FTX clients face deceptive priority withdrawal scam
FTX users have reported receiving deceptive emails that claim to be sent by FTX Trading, West Realm Shires Services, and FTX EU. These emails are part of a withdrawal scam targeting FTX users. Sunil, an advocate for FTX creditors, warned FTX account holders about this phishing scam and advised them against clicking on any suspicious links.
The phishing scam falsely promises FTX creditors an exclusive opportunity for immediate asset withdrawals, bypassing the usual waiting periods and legal procedures. In one instance of a fraudulent email, it states:
“We are pleased to extend a special opportunity to our valued priority clients of FTX Trading Ltd., West Realm Shires Services Inc., and FTX EU Ltd., beginning today, October 20, 2023. As a priority client, you can now initiate the asset withdrawal process on the FTX platform and transfer your assets directly to your wallet, eliminating any waiting time and legal proceedings.”
These deceptive emails target users who are eager to withdraw their assets, particularly in the context of ongoing legal disputes involving Sam Bankman-Fried, the former CEO of the exchange.
This scam has surfaced shortly after FTX creditors achieved a significant milestone by announcing the resolution of customer property disputes. Pending approval from a bankruptcy court, the revised plan aims to provide substantial relief to FTX’s global customer base, with customers expected to receive over 90% of the distributable value.

Be careful of these types of phishing emails. Been getting a lot more of them recently (and from seemingly similar domains)
They prob got FTX-related emails due to the FTX Kroll website getting hacked so our emails were leaked
Stay safe out there frens
